These Conditions apply to all the guests at the Hotel.

Please note that your reservation terms & conditions stated at the time of booking and/or in your confirmation email/letter takes precedence over the accommodation terms & conditions outlined below.

Westone Manor takes great care to provide you with the best and most helpful information through our website and invite and advise all our visitors to read and understand our terms and conditions carefully before finalising their bookings.

By making a booking via our website, you also accept and agree with all the terms & conditions set out below. The terms and conditions are all standard to the industry.

Information On The Website

We have taken great care to make this website as clear and informative as possible and all the information here is presented with great care and attention. However, Westone Manor will not guarantee the information is presented correctly and will not be held liable for any inconveniences, loss of revenue or any damages, which result from the direct or indirect use of any information provided on our website.

We try to ensure that all information presented on our website is accurate, appropriate and up to date, reviewed in a timely fashion. However, we do not make guarantees of any kind that the rates listed will be available at the time of bookings.

If as a consumer you feel that certain information is expressly needed and you cannot find it on the website, please contact us and we will provide the information required without delay on enquiries@westonemanor.com

Reservations Individual Bookings

The bookings will only be undertaken and guaranteed by providing a valid credit card detail. The hotel reserves the right to take a pre-authorisation on the credit/debit card to secure the booking 48 hrs prior to the date of arrival. If the card has been declined, the hotel will try to contact the guest and reserves the right to cancel the booking if an alternative valid card is not provided. Bookings cannot be guaranteed without a valid credit/debit card. Full payment is required upon check-in.

We will send you the confirmation of reservation by e-mail with a booking reference number.

Group Bookings

All Group Bookings of 5 rooms or more are subject to different agreed conditions as set out above for individual bookings.

Pre-Payment Non Refundable Reservations

The terms of the pre-payment non refundable reservations require full payment to be made at the time of booking. Payment will be processed and debited from the authorised credit/debit account.

No refund will be offered for cancellations, no-shows and early departures. Changes or amendments to the reservations will be termed as cancellations and no refund will be offered.

Cancellation Policy Block Bookings

Cancellation policy for accommodation is 48 hours prior to 2 pm on the day of arrival. Any cancellations made outside of this time will be charged in full. The hotel reserves the right to charge the guests credit/debit card in the guests’ absence. Please note that some third parties selling our rooms have a non-refundable option. If a booking is advertised as non-refundable, any cancellation will be charged in full, regardless of the time of cancellation.

Cancellation policy for functions, weddings and block bookings of 5 or more rooms is: 30 days prior to the day of arrival; moreover, all outstanding balances must be paid 6 weeks prior to function/block booking date. Deposits will be taken and negotiated at the time of booking. All holding deposits normally charged at 25% are non-refundable. Please Note: If a cancellation is made 30 days before the event date, no refund is payable, 60 days before the event date you’ll receive 50% refund of the total amount of the value of the function/event, and if 90 days before you’ll receive 75% refund of the value of function/event. This cancellation policy exists to safeguard the hotel and subcontract services employed by the hotel against the loss of business. We advise event organisers to take out independent cancellation insurance. Please note under exceptional circumstances if given notice, event functions may be transferable to an alternative date agreed by both parties.

Individual Flexible Rate Booking

Cancellations must be received before 2:00 pm, 48hrs prior to the expected day of arrival for all Flexible Rate Booking. If a cancellation is received later than the required date, or in case of no show, the hotel will charge for full duration of stay. However, if cancellation notification is not given, then the hotel reserves the right to charge the whole amount for the entire duration of stay.

Please note that Special offers, Discounted Rates and Packages have different cancellation policies. Please check at time of booking.

Group Bookings

All Group Bookings of 5 rooms or more are subject to different agreed conditions as set above for individual bookings. In the event of cancellation or non-arrival, we will charge the full amount of the tariff specified, unless otherwise agreed in writing. All cancellations must be made directly to the hotel by email.

Reservations are confirmed once the hotel has received a valid Credit/Debit card details to secure the booking. By making a booking via our website, you also accept and agree with all terms and conditions set out which are all standard to the industry.

Pre-authorisation of Credit/Debit card as Security Deposit

Upon arrival at the hotel, but before a reservation can be checked in a pre-authorisation of £100 by either a valid Credit/Debit card or in Cash as deposit for any accidental/ intentional damage to the property or other incidentals, charges are required including the followings:

  • Smoking – It is against the Law to smoke in the Hotel
  • Tampering with Smoke Detectors or Fire Fighting
  • In House Partying
  • Damages to Property
  • Drunk & Disorderly
  • Excessive Noise in your room

If the deposit is covered by cash, this will be returned on departure from the hotel to the person who signed the Registration card.

The hotel also reserves the right to use the deposit to cover the cost of any accidental or intentional damage to the room or any part of the hotel premises, or to cover the cost of any deep cleaning/ Loss of revenues that is required due to any actions of the occupant, including smoking.

Those not complying with the smoke-free law, will be committing an offence against the law. The fixed penalty notice on the person smoking is £100.00. We kindly request you to respect the law and abstain from smoking in the hotel except in designated areas outdoors.

Guests liability for their account is not waived and guests agree to be held personally liable. In the event that any indicated person, group, company or association fails to pay all or part of any charges incurred.

Child Policy

The hotel welcomes guests of all ages and our aim is to make travelling with families even more enjoyable. Children up to 2 years may share their parent’s room at no extra charge. Baby cots are available upon request (subject to availability) and advanced booking is required. Children aged 18 years and under may not occupy a hotel room on their own and must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Unfortunately due to health & safety restrictions, children under the age of 12 years of age are not allowed to stay in guest rooms on the 2nd floor and above in the main building & Rooms 601 to 622 in the Annexe building.

Tampering with Fire Detection Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment

 We reserve the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered/ interfered with any fire detection equipment throughout the hotel. This includes detector heads in public areas and bedrooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers. Guests found to have tampered with any fire detection or firefighting equipment, will be charged with any costs incurred by the hotel due to their actions and additionally may be asked to leave the hotel. Depending on the severity of the guest’s We reserve the right to take action against any guest found to have tampered / interfered with any fire actions, the police may become involved at the hotel’s discretion. Should the fact that firefighting or detection equipment had been tampered with come to light after the guests has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests’ credit/debit card or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address

Inappropriate Behaviour

It is our hotel’s policy that all our guests have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. As a responsible host, we believe that we have a duty to our guests, to protect them from  inappropriate behaviour. Should any actions by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the Senior Staff on Duty, or if any inappropriate behaviour is brought to the attention of the Senior Staff, the Hotel reserves the right, after any allegations have been investigated, to take action against the guest. Depending on the severity of the guests’ actions, the Police may become involved at the hotels’ discretion, or the guests may be asked to leave the hotel.

Right of Refusal

 The Hotel reserves the right to refuse a guest entry and accommodation if, on arrival, management reasonably considers that the guest is under the influence of drink or drugs, is unsuitably dressed or is behaving in a threatening abusive or otherwise unacceptable behaviour.

Check-In / Out Times

Check-in is at 2pm and check -out is at 11am, unless otherwise authorised by the hotel. Late check -outs are available upon request and availability and may incur a charge at the hotel’s discretion.

Vehicles

All vehicles are parked at the owners’ risk. Should any damage, loss or incident occur in relation to a vehicle in the hotel car park, the hotel cannot accept any liability. If a vehicle is left in the hotel car park for more than 8 hours after the guest has departed (unless authorised by the hotel) the hotel reserves the right to remove the vehicle at the owner’s expenses

Removal of hotel Property

We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the missing item come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest credit/debit card, or send an invoice to the amount to the registered address.

Losses & Liabilities

 The hotel shall not be liable to a guest for any loss or damage to property caused by the misconduct or negligence of a guest or an act of God, or where the guest remains in exclusive charge of the property concerned.

Whilst all reasonable efforts have been taken by the Hotel to ensure that Bookings made under this Agreement are able to proceed, the Hotel reserves the right to relocate any Booking to another hotel of similar size and standard. The client acknowledges that the hotel accepts no liability for any loss or damages suffered by or caused to the client in consequence of the relocation of the client.

Guests will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause at the Hotel.

Photo-ID requirement for NON-UK & EU Residents

 Guest who are not from UK or any of the EU countries can only provide a Passport as valid Photo-ID

Upon arriving at the front desk to check in, you can expect to be asked for your ID. If you are under 18 years the hotel will rightfully refuse to check you in unless you are accompanied by a responsible adult.

Photography Policy

Any images clicked at the property or taken from our website may only be used for personal and non commercial use. The use of these images for business purposes including but not limited to, publicity materials, websites, books, newspapers and magazines must be approved by the Hotel.
